Verify Identity

The identity verification is required by financial regulators. After completing the identity verification, you can request and activate your Bolt debit card.

1. Start Verification

1. Log in to Bolt SuperApp.
2. On the Home screen, tap Bank/Card.
3. Enter your phone number.
4. Enter the verification code sent to your phone.
5. Tap Let’s verify and Continue.

2. Upload ID

1. Tap Begin verifying.
2. Choose your ID type:
   • Driver License
   • State ID
   • Passport
   • Municipal ID
   • Passport Card
   • Permanent Resident Card
3. Place the front of your ID in the frame to take a photo. The app takes the photo automatically.
4. If required, take a photo of the back of your ID.
5. Tap Use this photo to proceed or Retake photo to try again.

3. Complete Facial Verification

1. Tap Get started.
2. Take three selfies:
   • Front
   • Left
   • Right
3. Tap Continue.

4. Fill In Information

5. Provide Proof of Address

If the document you used for identity verification does not show your current address, you may be asked to upload a proof of address.

Accepted documents include:

• Utility bill
• Bank statement
• Mortgage or property tax document

To submit your proof of address:

1. Tap Upload if the document is stored on your device, or tap the Camera button to take a photo.
2. Review the scan:
   • Tap Retake to try again.
   • Tap Keep Scan to proceed.
3. Tap Save and Submit to complete the upload.

6. Complete Verification

1. Tap Continue, then Done.
